I was watching some Halloween Chopped while eating dinner and I really liked the nose on the second guy, so I decided to sketch all of the contenstants from the episode. I don’t know how old it was, it came on just before this week’s new episode so maybe it’s the one from last week.
I made pork chops/steak cooked in a marinade of balasmic vinegar, peanut oil, salt, pepper, 1/2 onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, sugar, other. I put them into a hot cast iron pan with the left over marinade around it, let that cook for maybe 4 minutes (these were thick cuts of meat) then I flipped them let them cook longer. I spread some mustard on the top part of both and put them in the oven for 30 minutes to cook to well. the one I ate came out so soft and delicious. Most of the acidity of the vinegar had cooked off and the bit of mustard was nice. I made some brocolini to go with, and I fixed some rice from this morning and some ‘cuban’ beans I bought at the store. The beans weren’t seasoned enough to really be hispanic.
Keep your drawing hand strong, i’ll have something new tomorrow.
